Eli walked around the avenue between the pyramids with Adam. He controlled his urge to hold Adam’s hand, and kiss him again. He didn’t want Josh to lose sight that he had to be the first to tell Adam that Josh was his son. But Eli couldn’t complain. The events of the late morning and early afternoon had developed quickly, and for the first time since they’d arrived, Eli broke into a broad smile, just walking and thinking of Adam just a few feet away, chatting away about the ruins while they were walking.
