Aaliyah's POV
Upon seeing my mother's face my heart felt at ease, even though my mind can't recognize her my heart can tell that she is my Mom.
I wanted to hug her tightly and asked her how she has been for the past years but I can't find any courage to do that because I felt like doing that will lead to more complications. If I involve myself with them again I am afraid of what my biological father would do. I know how cruel he can be just to get the things that he wanted and I don't want my Mom to taste his cruelty.
