Aaliyah's POV
The awkward lunch at the restaurant continue and I wanted to disappear right away.
"Growing up as siblings and then, later on, finding out that you two weren't related at all might be a huge blow," Patricia uttered after taking a bite. I smiled awkwardly and then looked at Carson who is already looking at me intently.
"Did anything change in how you treated each other?" she asked and I don't know but I felt like in her question she was trying to fish out some information like she already has to know something and wanted to confirm if what she knew is a fact or not.
"Patricia I think we should leave them alone. Maybe we are bothering them," Carson uttered maybe because he noticed the awkwardness or he just feels uneasy whenever I am around.
