Aaliyah's POV
After dropping me off at Carter's mansion, Greyson immediately left since he need to finish some work in his office.
I thought when I arrived at the mansion I can finally have the rest that I wanted but I was wrong because when I arrived I saw my father sitting on the couch as if he is waiting for someone.
When he saw me walking towards the living room he looked at me intently and waited for me to reach him. When I am just a few inches away I leaned forward and kissed his cheeks as a sign of respect.
"Hi Dad," I uttered. He simply nods his head.
"Sit down," he uttered more of a command. I nod my head and oblige. I sat across him and then waited for his next words.
"How is the preparation for your wedding?" he asked then leaned his back on the couch and crossed his legs
