Aaliyah's POV
As I stand in front of the board members I can feel my knees shaking but I did my best to act like I am fine.
"Smile Aaliyah," I heard my father whisper on my side so I have no choice but to force a smile as I looked at them.
"Are you sure your daughter can handle Carter's Corporation Philip?" an old man who wears a business suit asked. My father, Philip Carter looked at him then flashed a smile and nod his head.
"Aaliyah is my daughter. Being a business tycoon runs in her blood, so don't you dare question her ability," my father responded. He is smiling but I can tell that the old man's question pissed him off.
"Whether you like it or not I will train Aaliyah as the next CEO of Carter Corporation. That's all meeting adjourned," he uttered then we walked out of the meeti
