(JANE’S POV)
“I am so sorry that I’m late.” I said
“I was just telling your dad that I hope he did not give you a whole lot during that fight of yours.” She said and she cast dad a look.
“And I told her that you handled yourself pretty well out there.” Dad said in his defense.
“Plus Emilia told her you have just been stressed about the wedding so you needed the rest.” Dad said
“Oh!” I said and looked at Emilia.
She shrugged.
“Um yeah. So many preparations and all that.” I said with a nervous chuckle as I made myself comfortable.
“We can imagine. It’s been a bustle for us here as well.” Mum said
“Anyway, you should not be getting so stressed up. You can do things when you want okay? You are still young.” He said.
“She is going to get married,” Mum said giving Dad a scolding loo
