(JANE’S POV)
Two days later, Emilia and I left Seattle before the c***k of dawn heading to the sun pack to give my parents the news of my marriage to Carl, the young Alpha of the blue pack.
Carl came by the apartment the night before we travelled, I was startled to find him there in my kitchen and in the dark!
“There’s no need to be scared, baby.” He had said as he gave me a sly smile while uncrossing his legs before standing up and walking towards me.
Just as usual, I caught his scent and it was like my mind was thinking several things.
“I was not scared.” I lied. “Can you please stop breaking in to my house?”
