(JANE’S POV)
When I woke up, I just stayed staring at the ceiling blankly. I woke up feeling sad. I should be on my honeymoon now but here I am, busy moping around. I was still deep in thought when my door was burst open and Emilia dashed in with the most frightened look on her face.
“Jane.” She said and i could hear that her voice was even shaken as well.
“Em. What’s wrong?” I asked her as I came down from my bed in panic.
I went over to her and took her hands in mine. They were shaking. She was shaking.
“I have some bad news.” She said and she led me to sit down.
My heart started racing.
“What is it? What is wrong?” I asked her
“Your dad is in the hospital.” She said to me
I felt my ears go blank. My heart beat so fast that it felt like it was going to explode out of my chest
