The man scoffed as he looked outside, he doesn't have anything against his so called fiance but he already have someone he likes, he wants to pursue her but before that he wants to break this engagement because if he doesn't he will be insulting the girl he liked and he doesn't want that.

The man got off the carriage as he reached the Fang Residence, as he stretched his hand and helped the girl out, girl was exactly the man only she looked younger and had hazel brown eyes. The gatekeeper of Fang bowed down as he saw the symbol, his master had told them that foreign prince will come today. Steward Wi, the housekeeper of Fang family welcomed them inside, Steward Wi always accompany AiFen as she hold the financial matter of the household. He led the prince and surely his sister the princess to the hall where master and mistress is going to meet him, AiFen was really angry as she heard about this cancellation, she cursed the day her father has made this deal. She regrets that they were the first one to cancel, she should have cancelled it first.
The prince came inside as JingJin and AiFen stood up and greeted them with a slight bow, they gestured Prince and Princess to sit down.
" Prince Edward Adams Simmons, Princess Rosaline Olivia Simmons welcome to Fang Residence"
Edward could hear the hostility in JingJin's voice but as he saw JingJin expression it was neutral and calm even AiFen's expression was neutral. Prince Edward nodded as GangDa and HungJi entered the hall, they both frowned at him as they took their seat.
" They are JiaLi's brothers GangDa my eldest son and HungJi my youngest son"
Both of them nodded at the Prince and Princess as Rosaline stared at GangDa, who just glanced and ignored her. Rosaline can't deny GangDa is really handsome, he is just her type, Prince slightly elbowed her as he gave her a look. Tea and snacks were served as for a moment there was awkward silence, Prince couldn't help but clear his throat and ate some snacks as his eyes widened.
" These are really good"
AiFen smiled as she spoke up.
" Ah!!! yeah JiaLi taught our chefs to cook these now all our dishes are modified and taste amazing, we will pack some snacks of your liking for your return"
Even Prince's guard shivered at AiFen's last sentence and the coldness with which she spoke. AiFen couldn't help but brag about her little girl, she just so proud. Edward's eyes widened he never thought a noble lady would be interested in cooking let alone teaching someone to cook, and these snacks were delicious. Edward looked up as he heard AiFen's last statement Fang family clearly didn't like him. He could fell the heavy pressure they were giving to him., just as he was about to open his mouth he heard the most melodious voice ever.
" Why don't we get on the topic ?"
Even Rosaline couldn't help but glance as she froze seeing the most beautiful girl ever, Rosaline burned with jealousy but she was also relieved that she was GangDa's sister otherwise her competition would have been difficult. Edward couldn't take off his eyes as he saw the girl enter and sit between the two brothers, she raised her eyebrows in challenge at him as he had to look away from her stern stare.
" Father, I need to go somewhere, please cancel this engagement fast"
Edward looked with wide eyes at her his soon to be ex-fiance sure couldn't wait to get ride of him, this pissed him off-- no..no he shook his head he loved Miya, he needs to go back and should break this engagement fast. JingJin smiled at JiaLi's statement as he gestured a Eunuch to give him the contract. Edward too gestured his guard as he gave him the contract both of them hand over the contract to each other as they nodded and ripped it, the contract was now null and void. JiaLi opened her fan as she smiled in relief, she got up as she nodded at Prince and Princess and was about to walk out but HungJi and GangDa held her hand.
" Where are you going?"
" Just out"
GangDa nodded as he knew she didn't want to answer in front of the Prince. He got up as he and HungJi walked out with JiaLi without giving Prince and Princess any Face. Prince gritted his teeth in irritation as Rosaline narrowed as she replayed the scene where GangDa held JiaLi's hand....she shook her head to clear her thought no..JiaLi was his sister and she needs to impress JiaLi too.
" Well Prince Edward now this is done I hope you enjoy your visit here, King summoned you to come and visit him once you are done. Forgive us we won't be able to escort you out Steward Wi will show you out. Please accept his gift"
AiFen gave him the snacks and a beautiful jade pendant, no matter how much she hates him she need to be courteousness to her guest. Edward narrowed his eyes as he smiled lightly and accepted the gidt and got up, Rosaline reluctantly got up as he looked at the door from where GangDa disappeared. AiFen narrowed her eyes as she saw Rosaline's action, she won't allow this princess to enter in her household for sure . Rosaline bowed to show AiFen and JingJin who returned but she could feel AiFen looked at her eith stern expression.

JiaLi looked up at the sky as she smiled finally she is free from marriage, she quickly changed her clothes to combat clothes as called Deshi to accompany her. It took her some efforts to make her brothers give up the idea of coming with her. She is going to the forest near by, she need some medicinal herbs that were not mentioned in the book like penicillium, qunine.
She set out as Deshi followed her out, she sure will find some good medicines for sure.
