Waking up with the sun like usual, I stretch out on my bed and yawn wide. I have half a mind to just lie here. I feel refreshed. The last few days had passed smoothly. No nightmares. No weird panic attacks. Work at the diner and work with Jay keeps my mind occupied so I don’t dwell too much on my old life with Matthew.  Things are improving with my family.  Last weekend, my brother and the kids came into the diner for lunch after the twin's soccer game. When I asked to take the kids for a few hours this weekend so I can to know them better, Daniel easily agreed.  Three weeks ago, when I first moved next door to Jay, Maria switched my hours.
