17. Wishes

I get over to the Yanin village without any issues. Marcus decides to watch me. I find the girls and roam around with Suzie.

Marcus whispers in my ear. "I'm going to go pee. I'll be right back."

Suzie grabs my arm and becomes a statue.

"I think he knows I told you. You're supposed to be calm."

"Sorry, I tried. Do you think we can?"

"The guard on this side, I can't touch. The other one is Tre. You saw how he was kissing that other girl. I don't think he would let us." She nods. "I think the prince is the only one who would let us do it." I shrug my shoulders. "It is his birthday."

"Happy birthday to him if we can get away with it."

"We have to figure out how to ditch my security and get him away from his. But his is only on during the parade. We could catch him before it. Or right after, that might work."

"I know where the parade building is. We could go beside it. But I don't know if we could get his attention."

"I can go back to the castle and tell him to meet me beside it before the parade."

"You can go talk to him?"

"We won't be alone or anything. But I could get the message to him. Security is still here between the parades."

She jumps up and down. "Go do it. Do you think I could get a kiss from him too?"

"Do you think he should know about me? I don't want him to get mad."

"He's not going to get mad. The most he'll say is no. Then we leave. But I don't think he'll say no."

"Yea he probably won't."
