Third person's pov

It had been one day since they had all gone back to the Shining Full Moon pack and everything was back to normal.

Albert and Kyle were training the older fighters as always while Dean and Cai were training the younger. Alex was taking care of the trackers as Henna was still in need of taking care of Nick and spending time with him and Tia was back to school. Fern with Julia were with Ann and Derek showing them everything around the pack's territory and Travis was taking care of some companies of the family. Kara and Isaak had gone back to their pack with Dillon and his mate, Hannah doing the same.

George from the other side was again locked in his office trying to think a good way to get close to Tia and Kyle as from the previous day after that incident he hadn't seen Tia at all because she had skipped dinner and breakfast and Kyle wasn't even looking at him. Kyle had of course convinced Tia to eat and he had taken her dinner and he had ready for her breakfast to take it with her at school but George was worried and he didn't have any idea of all these. Fern was also ignoring him completely and she didn't sleep in their room with him the night before making him feel even worse. Only Blaire and El were talking to him casually because they were unaware of what was going on and that was making him feel a bit relieved because he didn't want to frustrate Blaire more.

"You are an i***t! Asshole! I want my pups and you keep on pushing them away!" his wolf roared once he unblocked him.

He had blocked him out of his mind from the night before as he was screaming and shouting at him all the time after everything that had happened. He was mad at him because he felt Tia's pain and Kyle's disappointment. Things got worse when Fern didn't go to sleep with him and his wolf needed her in order to calm down.

"I didn't do it on purpose! You know I had good intention!" he replied trying to defense himself with guilt.

"I don't f*****g care!"

"I really want to talk to them."

"Yeah, sure... Good luck because I am not going to help you and no one else is. You are alone from now on!" his wolf replied through his teeth shaking from anger and immediately blocked him.

George sighed deeply feeling desperate. He was drowning, he was lost, he was really alone. Everything was his fault and he had to try and gain everyone's trust again.

He knew what he had to do...

Blaire from the other side after the breakfast had gone to observe the elders' training and Ian had gone to take El to his pack again because Matthew really wanted to spend time with his granddaughter and show her everything around the pack and some time ago Ian had come back alone to take Blaire for a walk in the forest. They were alone and everything was peaceful making Blaire feel even more comfortable with him.

The sun was up the light blue clear sky, it was not very warm, everything around was green and the birds were singing with butterflies flying around them making Blaire admire everything around her amused. She really loved it and Ian was so calm next to her, he was observing her every move, smile, expression and he was very happy.

"Ian... Can you show me your wolf now?" she whispered nervously once they got deeply inside the forest and sat down a big willow tree.

He blinked his eyes and stiffened next to her nervously. He wasn't sure, he didn't want to pressure her that much, he was afraid of scaring her because it was still difficult for her to believe the whole werewolf thing.

"Blaire baby, what if you get scared? Terror is a very big wolf and I don't know if you are ready yet... I don't want you to pressure yourself if you don't feel that sure..." he replied worried but she quickly shook her head negatively.

"I feel great with you, I am calm and I trust you. I feel safe with you by my side and if you say that we are mates or soulmates then I believe you because I really feel something different for you. If our wolves were feeling the same then why don't we try it?" she asked with her eyes shining with hope and Ian sighed confused.

"I really want to, Terror is excited but I want you to be sure. He is never going to hurt you in any way. You and El are the most important persons for him. Are you sure?" he asked her after some more seconds thinking about it.

"Yes! I am sure. So?" she replied immediately making him laugh slightly.

"Impatient woman... Okay, stay here, I will go behind that tree. I have to take off my clothes and shift to Terror . He will appear from the right side behind the tree, okay? If you get scared just say it and I will shift immediately back to my human form. I will come close to you if you feel comfortable enough or you can do it. Feel free to act however you want but don't run away because I do not want you to get hurt. Alright?" he said looking deeply into her eyes and she quickly nodded.

"Okay then. Wait here and I will be right back." He said and stood up while Blaire sat more comfortably under the willow.

Ian walked behind another big willow right opposite of Blaire and took off his clothes with shaking hands. He was getting nervous second by second and Terror was too impatient and scared at the same time about Blaire's reaction. They two of them didn't want her to be afraid or get panicked and terrified from Terror's appearance. He wasn't a common wolf, he was enormous, tall with big paws and sharp nails, great white big teeth, thick, soft shining black fur and big mixed grey and light blue shining eyes.

Blaire could easily feel uncomfortable at the best situation and Ian didn't want it to happen not only for Blaire but for Terror as well. He was devastated from Beth's death and Blaire's acceptance was the only thing that could take his pain away.

"Are you ready? Don't worry that much man. She is brave, I am sure that she is going to love you!" Ian said to Terror once he was fully undressed.

"What if she gets scared of me and hates me?" Terror whispered anxious and moved uncomfortably in Ian's mind.

"Have some faith on her. Blaire is still strong even if she doesn't remember a thing. She can make it, just try to take it slowly, okay? We will let her do whatever she wants." He replied and Terror nodded nervously.

Ian gave him full control and in a second his bones began cracking and soon black fur covered his body and in some more seconds he was turned into his wolf form with his paws touching the ground with confidence.

"Here we go..." Terror murmured and Ian nodded smiling.

Blaire was still sitting down the willow the moment she heard Ian's bones cracking and she took a deep breath trying not to get panicked. She was feeling nervous and excited at the same time. She really wanted to see Terror and get familiar with everything again but she knew that the first time it would be awkward and a bit difficult for her.

She was sighing with her eyes locked in the right side of the tree the second she saw Terror appearing. She gasped and her whole body began shaking from his view.

He was breathtaking and not that scary as she had thought.

Terror stopped next to the willow some meters in front of her and sat down shaking his tail slightly from nervousness with his big eyes locked on Blaire's figure. She had a blank expression for some seconds making him even more worried but he couldn't smell fear that much. He could listen to her heartbeat, it was fast and strong but she was trying to stay calm and feeling her like that made him lay on the ground showing her that it was alright and she could do anything she wanted. He wasn't going to get close to her if she didn't want to, it was up to her, she had to take control over the situation.

"She is not that bad... See? She is smiling slightly!" Ian exclaimed surprised some seconds later and Terror's eyes opened widely realizing that he was right.

Blaire had a smile of amusement on her face and she was standing up slowly with her eyes locked on Terror.

"Is she...?" Terror murmured breathless observing her taking some small timidly steps to him.

"Coming! She is coming! I told you. She still feels the connection!" Ian yelled excited.

Blaire after she took some steps stopped suddenly and took a deep breath and then cleared her throat not knowing what to do or say. It was awkward for her but good at the same time, she had a good feeling.

"Um... Can I come there?" she whispered trembling without really realizing what she was doing as the words came out of her instinctually.

Terror just leaned his head a bit forward and purred with his big tail shaking more than before letting her know that it was okay by him and Blaire nodded smiling. She took some more steps not that slow than before and stopped again less than a meter away from Terror's body.

"Can I touch you?" she asked looking right into his big expressive eyes and he purred again.

"Am I dreaming?" he asked Ian through their link and Ian laughed in joy.

"No man! I told you! Just enjoy it, you need time with her as well as I do."

Blaire blushed and raised her hand slowly while her heart was beating like crazy. She was extremely overwhelmed, Terror's eyes were drowning her and she was feeling the need to touch him like it was oxygen for her and necessary for her life.

She stopped some inches away from the top of his head and saw his eyes shining in agony. She could feel his tension, he was nervous like her and this made her heart melt. She took another deep breath and didn't waste any more time, she moved her hand again and the top of her fingers touched Terror fur. A wave of a big pleasant energy travelled suddenly all over her body with the same happening to Terror who purred loudly immediately and Blaire sighed shocked with her eyes widely open.

"What was that? The bond?" she asked breathless and Terror shook his head and leaned closer to her head purring.

"Okay..."

~at the same time somewhere that not many had ever gone...~

The Goddess smiled excited while looking at her two blessed kids and turned to look the presence next to her who was observing Terror and Blaire with watery eyes.

"I told you... Everything is going to be alright... See? She can make it on her own." She said softly with adoration and pride.

"It is just the beginning Luna... She feels not so familiar with all these, she is nervous and constantly in frustration..."

"I know... I created you, you are my favorite kids. I know your weaknesses, your thoughts, your feelings, your strong points, everything. This is why I know that Blaire is going to make it on her own... Beth..."

Kyle's pov

"If you need me anything else I will be in my office. I have some pack things to do and then I want to go and take Tia from school. Are you okay with continuing alone?" I ask Albert.

"It's fine. Do not worry at all. If I need more help I will ask from your uncle but you know that is unlikely to happen. Go and try to relax a bit. Okay?"

"Thanks Albert! See you later! Uh! And do not wait for Tia and me for lunch. We will be late and we will probably be here in time for dinner." I say tapping his back and he nods smiling.

"Okay, have fun you two and be careful!"

I turn and walk back to the pack house. I am glad I have Albert, Dean, Cai and Alex with us. These men are true family and I know that I can count on them now that I am going to leave. My uncle will be also a big help, he is a great man and Ian will surely play the biggest role. Blaire and El need him more than anyone and I am sure that Tia and my mom like him a lot and he is willing to try and support them in my place.

Only Ian and Derek know about what I am going to do and to be honest I feel very safe with them knowing my plan and intentions because they really understand and respect my wish to stay away for a while.

I reach the pack house and go straight up to my office where Derek is already waiting for me as I got a bit late with the training and I had to stay a bit longer at the field to help Albert. I get in the office without knocking and find him sitting already on the couch waiting for me.

"Sorry I am late! I had to stay and help Albert for some more time. How are you? Do you have a good time here?" I ask him while locking the door.

"It's fine. I just came. I was with your mom, aunt and Ann. They showed us the pack's accommodations and everything else. I am fine but what about you? We didn't have the opportunity to talk after the incident yesterday..." he says with a meaningful look.

"Okay, I need to ask you a favor."

"Yeah?" he says while I walk and sit on the small table opposite of him.

"I need to leave earlier and I want you to stay here if you accept. I can go to Switzerland on my own but I will feel better if you stay here for a while. El adores you and I am sure that one more man will be a great support here now that I am leaving. I can promise you that I am going to take care of your pack like it is mine, I promise I..."

"Man stop it! I am fine with what you want but calm down because you are getting frustrated again and there is no reason at all. You are free to go, I will inform the guys and they will be there waiting for you. My pack is yours, I treat you as you treat me and I understand you need to leave but are you sure? What about the girls? The pack will have all of us but Tia and your mother?"

I sigh and see the wary in his eyes. He is a great man. He loves us a lot and I know I can trust him. I am lucky, too lucky.

"I talked with Ian and he is going to stand next to them. Albert, Alex and Dean are also very close to them, you are here so... Only you and Ian will know." I say and he shakes his head nervously.

"Okay my friend. Okay! I am going to do whatever you say and I will talk only with Ian about it but keep in mind that the girls will be devastated. Especially Tia... I can see how much she loves you."

"I know, I am father and brother at the same time for her. I will try to prepare her for it last. I am going to go and take her from school in a while as well for shopping at the mall. I need to cheer her up a bit after yesterday's incident. And also our mother has her birthday in six days from now and I want to make her a surprise. Now that Blaire and El are back I think that a big party will be ideal. Don't you think?" I ask smiling in the end and he nods excited.

"Yes! I think it will be great and... When are you going to leave? I will book you the ticket and I will cancel the others we had for later."

"I am leaving in one week from now. After my mother's birthday. I already have everything prepared." I state and he opens his eyes widely shocked.

"Um... Okay... I think that it will be hard for all of them but it is up to you..." he says and taps my knee.

"Yeah... It is..."

~some time later~

"Alpha Gordon! What a pleasant surprise! Are you here for Tia?" the principal of the school asks me once I get in the school's main corridor and fall on him.

"Yes! Of course for Tia."

"But why? Tia is the best student we have and if we had any problem we would have told you so..." he asks me confused.

"I am not here to ask about Tia, I know that my sister is a great girl. I just came because today I have to take her one hour earlier than the usual and I needed to inform you."

He nods in understanding and smiles warmly.

He was my principal some years ago as well Blaire's. The school is special for werewolves and in the middle of lots of packs' territories with a great number of kids. It's a great school and they all know me and my family very well. We are one of the few alphas' families and we are well-known to everyone.

"Do you want me to go and tell her to come now Kyle? I can do it if you are in hurry..." he says after some seconds in silence.

"Um... Yeah, to tell you the truth it would be nice of you. Thank you Mr. Brown."

"Anything for you Kyle. You are like children for me. You know how much I love you and your sisters, you are the best kids we had all these years." He whispers and places his hand on my shoulder.

"I know. Thank you again for everything. And... I would like to ask you to have in mind Tia a bit more from now on please. You know what happened to Blaire and Tia is a bit overwhelmed and emotionally unstable. Will you inform us if you see anything abnormal?"

"Of course Kyle. You didn't even have to mention it. I will inform her teachers as well. Do not worry at all."

"Thank you." I say and after he greets me again he leaves to Tia's class and I stay in the corridor waiting for her to come.

"Kyle!" I listen to her calling me after some minutes and walks through the corridor to me.

"What happened?" she asks worried reaching me.

"Nothing happened. I thought that it would be great if we spent some time alone today. We will go shopping, eat outside, we can see a movie if you want and as it is mom's birthday in six days from now we can plan a party for her. So? Did I do well for coming to take you?" I ask and she claps her hands excited.

"Yes Kyle! Thank you! You are the best!"

"Okay then princess. Let's go!"

Third person's pov

While Tia and Kyle had begun their shopping George was parking outside Tia's school. He wanted to take her by his own from and do not let her take the bus that was leaving her outside their pack's territory that some pack members were always there to take her and the other kids back to the pack.

He wanted to spend time with her, to talk a bit and try to get closer to her. He couldn't have this opportunity at the pack with so many people around and this was his only chance to see her alone. He was afraid that Tia would be nervous with it but he didn't know what else to do and decided to take the risk and give it a try.

But...

When the bell rang some minutes later he saw all his pack's children getting out of the school and Tia was nowhere to be found. He got worried and asked them where Tia was and one of her best friends told him that Kyle had gone one hour earlier to take her and she didn't know where they were.

He felt hurt and disappointed from it but he couldn't do a lot and decided to go back to the back and go for a run not wanting to lock himself again in his office.

He had do calm down or else he was going to get crazy for good as the guilt was killing him...

In the meantime Blaire was still sitting down the tree with Terror lying next to her. She was caressing his fur and he was purring like a puppy. They were both relaxed and calm. Terror felt alive again, he had Blaire at least and he was grateful. She hadn't just accepted him, she had shown love to him, she showed him adoration and affection. She didn't stop caressing his fur from the moment she had touched him.

She sat next to him and he leaned even closer to her. He placed his big head on her legs and began taking her scent purring.

"I am sure that Beth loved you very much! I can't regret for being with you and Ian... It feels so necessary. I need to be with you two in order to feel so peaceful. I like you very much Terror! I am so happy I met you and I want to spend time with you as well." She whispered and he lifted his big head slowly and licked her cheek making her laugh.

"Do you think that Ian will be jealous?" she asked still laughing and he left out a low howl.

"I will be but I am glad!" Ian said through the link to Terror who laughed enthusiastic.

He stopped licking Blaire and lifted his head up more. He looked up the sky and took a deep breath.

It was going to rain. The sky had darkened a lot, it was a bit windy and he could clearly smell it...

"We have to get back, right?" Blaire asked him reading his thoughts and he growled lowly in approval.

"Will you shift back?" she continued but Terror shook his head negatively.

He stood up slowly and with his head pointed his back. Blaire opened her eyes widely and smiled surprised.

"You mean that you will carry me?"

Terror just howled and she nodded after a while thoughtfully.

"Okay. We will go back home faster in this way. But first I need to take Ian's clothes!" she said and stood up and walked quickly behind the tree that Ian had left his clothes to take them.

"She is adorable!" Terror said with pride.

"And she feels great with us."

"Ian... She loves us!"

"Okay! We can go!" Blaire stated and walked close to him with Ian's clothes in her arms.

Terror lowered his body and Blaire quickly jumped on his back carefully and tried to wrap her hands around his neck but it was pointless because his neck was too big and her hands weren't that long. She laughed and placed her body in a more comfortable way on his back and Terror howled in joy.

"Okay. We can go!"

~some hours later, night~

"Where are Kyle and Tia? It is almost time for dinner." Julia asked Albert who was sitting in the living room with all the men while she and the women were preparing the dining room.

"We haven't talked after he left from the training." He replied and saw George stiffening nervously on his place on the opposite couch.

"Do you want me to call him?" Alex asked and pulled out of his pocket his phone.

"I don't think you need to..." Kyle said while getting in the living room with lots of shopping bags in his hands and Tia right behind him with also some bags.

"My Goddess! You bought all the shopping center?!" Dean yelled surprised and Ian began laughing.

"Well you could say that... Anyway, it is not only for us so..." Kyle murmured and left the bags he was holding down sighing exhausted.

"Hey! You are finally back! It was about time!" Blaire yelled excited while getting inside the living room and rushed to hug Tia and Kyle.

"Did you have a good time today baby?" Kyle asked her smiling and turned to give a quick look at Ian who was shining from happiness.

"Yes! It was great. I met Ian's wolf today." She replied and he opened his eyes widely surprised.

"I am glad you liked it sweetheart! I am happy for you."

"Kyle and Tia Gordon!" Fern's strong voice echoed and she appeared in the room like a flash with a furious expression.

"Where have you two been? I had to be informed from you Kyle and Albert informed me after I saw that Tia hadn't come with the other kids and I got worried!" she shouted and Tia stiffened chuckling while Kyle rolled his eyes and they all began laughing.

"Is that so funny? I was worried for my kids." Fern said with anger and Kyle walked to her and pulled her in his arms laughing.

"I am sorry my queen. I forgot to tell you and then we had so much fun that I didn't think to call you." He whispered and she slapped his back teasingly.

Her anger was gone the moment he wrapped his arms around her and his scent made her calm down immediately. Seeing their smiles melted her heart and she was glad both of them seemed so happy.

"You are eating with us, right?" Henna asked them but Tia and Kyle shook their heads in disagreement.

"We have already eaten, we are full. Thank you Henna." Kyle replied and Fern groaned annoyed.

"Now, excuse us but I have to go and take care of some pack things and Tia needs some rest. We will give you your gifts tomorrow after breakfast and we will tell you what we did." He continued and took again the shopping bags from the floor and then turned to help Tia with hers but Derek stopped him.

"I will help Tia. You can go Kyle." He said while standing up, walked quickly to Tia and took the bags from her.

"Are you sure that you don't want to eat?" George almost whispered but they didn't even showed him any interest and Kyle was too kind to stop and turn to look at him while Derek had already left with Tia.

"We are good, thank you." He replied automatically just because of Blaire and then turned and got out of the living room leaving them all speechless.

Kyle had just shown them how mature he was with his behavior. He was polite even if they were all ignoring George and he was too mad at him. He didn't want to make things worse, he didn't want to create a scene nor upset Blaire and their mother. He was hurt and his father was driving him crazy but he couldn't do otherwise for the next one week.

He was being patient because in few days he would be free and away from the man he was calling 'father'...

Derek's pov

"I can carry some bags Derek. You don't need to hold them all!" Tia tells me while we are walking up the stairs and we have almost reached at the top floor.

"You are tired and young my lady. I have to help you."

"Thank you very much! You are very kind." She says smiling and turns to look at me with her head lifted up.

I smile back and feel my wolf murmuring something but I can't understand what. I haven't spent much time with Tia to be honest because of the whole situation. She is a very sweet girl, clever, strong and kind and I feel protective over her already, especially after what happened yesterday.

We keep on walking the last steps and Tia passes me quickly to reach at her room first and open her door to help me. She walks in front of me at the corridor and I narrow my eyes from the scent that is coming from her.

What is wrong?

"Here! This is my room." she says while opening the last door of the corridor and points for me to get in.

"Where do you want me to leave the shopping bags my lady?" I ask her while she gets in her room behind me.

"Anywhere you want. I have no problem at all. You have already done enough." She replies and I walk at the back corner of her room and leave the bags next to a drawer.

"Okay young miss. We are done. Do you need anything else?" I ask turning to her but my eyes catch a photo at her bedside table and I freeze.

Blaire has told me everything about her life and what had happened with her grandma and her brother, Nate but I haven't seen any photos and this is the first one.

"It is great, isn't it?"

"Huh?" I say turning to Tia who is smiling at me.

"The photo..." she murmurs and starts walking.

She reaches the bedside table, takes the photo in her hands and sits on her bed silent. I walk to her with small timidly steps and my heart beating like crazy.

My eyes are locked on her face and the more I get closer the more her scent is driving me crazy. She smells really good, it's a mix of oranges and cinnamon and I can't understand why I haven't realized it before.

"We were one back then. The five of us. The happiest days of my life. After we came back the hell came and we broke apart." She whispers and turns to look at me in the eyes the moment I sit next to her on her bed.

I lock my eyes on hers and lose my breath.

She has the most beautiful honey eyes I have seen, they are so expressive and big, they are magical.

Why hadn't I realized it until now ?

"I miss these days very much! I miss Nate, I miss his smile, his voice, his laughter, his liveliness, everything!" she whispers and some tears start falling from her eyes.

This is breaking my heart, I can't see her like this, I don't know why this feels so difficult for me. Watching her crying feels like a torture.

"Tia..." I whisper breathless and move a bit closer to touch her but then she does something that leaves me shocked...

She hugs me and buries herself in my embrace and I almost pass out overwhelmed from the sparks.

And then everything is clear and I can understand what my wolf was screaming all this time!

"Mate!"
