"Do you have all you need?" Mike asked

"Yes Mike"I replied. He helped carry my suitcases , I know its just a one day  event but I am a lady , I must always be prepared for anything , I had twelve dresses, three shorts , five lingerie ,  three nightdresses , four pair of shoes , a bikini incase I decide to go swimming , I looked like I was going on a  vacation. Am just a little too extra. I know Enrique'will be surprised at my luggage .

He  was waiting for me downstairs  , when he saw Mike carry my luggage , he didnt look as surprised as I expected him to . His eyes glared at me.

I wore a  white dress, that was slightly above my knees. With black sandal heels . My hair was loose and pushed to the left side  a pearl bangle and fake diamond earings.   Do I look wierd?

"You look amazing "Enrique' said . I smiled.

"Thank you very much "I replied.

He looked as sharp as always , crisp white shirt, and black trousers with black shoes .

"Okay everything is in the car "Mike said . We walked out , a SUV was waiting  for us with the doors open. I hugged Mike and got in the car as he and Enrique' had a brief talk. He got in and sat beside me . Mike waved at us as we drove off.

I was quite nervous not sure if I can handle myself  around my boss, its like a toddler and fresh sweet candy.

He was on his phone talking about some business related stuff. I just cant believe he's taking his time out to come with me to Florida.

I didnt know we had arrived until the car came to a halt a gentle man opened the door as he held out his hand , well this wasnt the airport .I got out and a few meters away was a private jet , a whole private jet ! No freaking way!  Never in my life did I ever dream of getting into one not even in my imaginary fantasies . Ofcourse a man like Enrique' wouldnt board a public plane because he had his.

"Come dont be scared " he said . He held my hand . 

Inside was heavenly  ,the cabin crew were very welcoming . After the plane took off from the runway , I stared at the view outside  the puffy clouds looked like soft cotton .

"Are you excited ?" He asked as he took a seat infront of me .

"  a little bit  " I said . His glare was on me . I looked right and left then at him but his eyes were fixed on me .

" tell me about yourself Artemisia" he said .  I was quite surprised .

" what would you like to know ?" I asked .  I need to ,be careful to not blabber like a fool .

"  what are your hobbies, interests , ambitions" he said .

" my hobbies are reading novels and cooking , my interests probably music , my ambition is to make people smile " I said , I hope I was correct .

" if you had one wish what would it be?" He asked.

" to probably go to an island , enjoy myself and forget the world has troubles" I said . It has always been my wish to go on a vacation to an excotic Island with people pampering me with delicious food and massages .

" and what about you sir tell me about yourself" I said , its now his turn .

" where exactly can I begin with?" He said .

" your family" I said.

" well we are two boys , my father died from cancer when I was one , my mother remarried but the guy died in a  car accident on his way to Mike's delivery , my mother has never remarried since." He said .

" so Mike is your half brother ?"I asked .

"Yes , but hes also my bestfriend we have a strong relationship , we do business together " he said . No wonder they act like twins.

" and what about the blond ?" I asked ,remembering him kiss her  as I walked to the living room made my guts turn green.

"Kate, she and I dated for two years , we met at a business function and hit off ,  she did cheat a couple of times , I was dumb to take her back but this time , its over for good " he said . Two years and the blond threw it all away what a wasted sperm.

" do you love her" I asked.

" yes I do " he said , my heart sank he still loves her .

"But not anymore " he said again . My heart floated a littlebit not to jump into excitement too soon.

"And what about you , do you like Mike " he asked . I wanted to burst into laughter.

" no Enrique' Mike is a good friend , hes like a brother to me , hes very respectful too , I cant see him more than a friend" I said.  I cant deny that Mike is hot as hell , but I dont feel the deep connection in him as I feel for Enrique'. 

We arrived Tampa a few hours later . We took our luggage to a suite. A few minutes later .

A V8 was waiting in the parking , we got in and he drove off to the location I told him , I was quite impressed by how he knows the place .

Looking at my parents graves made me so sad, the day of their burial I cried so much and would cling  on their coffins , it hurt a lot . Enrique stood a few meters away  . 

"I got a job , thats my boss right there hes cute isnt he , hes treating me well and pays me a huge sum of money , I really like him , oh how I wish you were all here to see him "I said . I places flowers on the graves . I had one more person to see.  I took a few walks  to a grave that had  been written all kinds of insults like " rot in hell asshole " " burn till you decompose to devils waste" " worst mistake to live "  .

  " I know you were not a bad person , you had the chance to shoot me but you didnt , you let me live , you hurt so many people especially me , but in the end it was a bad choice we all make " I said , I didnt want to cry  despite the painful torment that event was , I felt a soft hand touch my back .

"You okay? "Enrique asked .

"Yes I am thanks for asking"I replied.

" whoa! Who's this why the hate ?" He said looking at the writings .

" he was one of the shooters , his family was the only one that took his body from the deathrow prison after his execution the others had no one to claim theirs so they were buried in the prison cemetary" I said.

"  poor guy"he said .   What this teens did was unforgivable but who am I to judge someday they will pay for their crimes already they have with their lives .

My stomach grumbled.

" come lets go eat " he said.  We headed off to a fine restaurant for a late lunch as it was already six .  We chatted about books hes also a book lover just like me . The street was busy at night  we went to a mall to buy some essentials. I left him behind a few walks as he was making a call , as i headed to the parking lot a young man approached me , asking for directions , taking me to a darker side  he pushed me and tried to rape me , Enrique fought him , the guy summoned his friends , he was a gang member ,  Enrique took my hand next thing i know we are running to the busy streets , the gang was gaining up on both sides  , we took a turn , there were alot of people but trust me gang members dont give a damn if the street is packed or not. They were on both sides but almost in our direction  we had to lose them fast .We ran he stopped by a jacket shop , how he paid it I dont know , he told me to wear it , he removed his jacketnand threw it in some dumpster, that mustve been a costly jacket , the boys were looking around we had to move fast as our car was a few walks away not enough time left going back to the car could be our funeral. He took out his phone

" I need a decoy now !"he said , he took a quick selfie of us , dude ! This isnt the time for selfie live chat ! We would wake up in coffins ! They  were still looking , we had no way out as ther were all over , still they hadnt spotted us but of we kept running they would , we just need to make them think we are not there.  There was no time left  . Oh no! One of them spotted us he was coming towards us ,  Enrique' turned my face to his so fast and his mouth landed on mine , he was kissing me so deeply and sensual ! His hands cupping my face, his tongue searching mine  he was such a good kisser.

"I have seen them this way " said one of the boys , we broke off from the kiss and looked around, the boys were not there phew!And What was that! I held my chest to catch my breath , Enrique's taste still in my mouth , he tasted like peppermint strawberry  , his lips were damn soft . What just happened !
