Elizabeth woke up with a splitting headache and she knew immediately that Sawyer was not beside her. She lay in bed with her eyes closed and tried to figure out what was going on before she got up.
Francesca wasn’t back, and neither was Jonas. That meant that Sawyer had been awake all night and that he was going to insist he didn’t need any rest until he was completely exhausted.
It made Elizabeth a little upset to think of that; she was sure that Jonas would not have gone off that way with no way for them to contact him if Francesca hadn’t shown up.
Selene was being talkative now that Francesca wasn’t there, and she had made them all breakfast in the tiny kitchenette in the van because she was clearly excited even though Sawyer was worried,
