Chapter 1
Cassandra POV
I looked at the food that had just been brought to me. I was so hungry, but my intuition was telling me not to eat it. For a few days, after meals, I had been seized with intense fatigue and sank into a sleep populated by nightmares.
Let me introduce myself. I'm Cassandra, I have long hair up to my loins and light brown, my eyes vary between blue, green and gray depending on my mood. My musculature is non-existent and many say that I'm just a bundle of bones, but that is due to the fact that I was malnourished. I didn't consider myself very tall, but rather, on average, at seventy-five meters. I don't know exactly how old I am, but one thing is certain, I don't have a wolf yet. For several years already, I had been living in a cell as a prisoner, but in fact, I was the personal slave of the Alpha of the Moon pack Bloody.
My body was covered in scars from the mistreatment I had suffered. Whether it was the whip with leather straps, the nail sarcophagus where I had to stand for hours without moving, the knives with silver blades, the burns by fire, in fact, everything that came to Alpha Blake's twisted mind.
So, I sat in my cell, terrified and hungry, looking at the dish that had just been put down, and although my stomach was twitching from hunger, I refused to eat that one daily meal.
Then I heard two of the guards discussing with each other.
Guard 1: Tonight is the big night
Guard 2: Yes, in an hour, the little one will sleep like a stump with all the tranquilizers in her meal. Then we will transport her to the site of the ritual.
Guard 1: And then, will we be able to make our little ass?
Guard 2: Only after the Alpha has stolen his virginity, do you know it's important. He first, then the whole pack and, for the grand finale, he will drink his blood to get all his powers.
Guard1: Oh yes, it's true
Guard 2: Afterward, Alpha Blake will be the most powerful of the Alphas, he will be able to rule the entire kingdom
Guard 1: And even take the place of the Alpha triplets of the Last Crescent pack?
Guard 2: Mostly them!
But what power were they talking about? I knew they were talking about me, because I was the only inmate in the dungeons. And wait for what? They were planning to rape me tonight and drink my blood? No way. I had to find a solution to get out of here. When I was younger, before I was locked up, I was near the border to the east with Avery. I felt my heart sink at only the thought of her.
Alpha Blake told me that he killed her for daring to offer me his friendship and then threw me in the dungeon to prevent me from seeking someone else's friendship. In short, I still remember that day, because it's my only beautiful memory.
There was a small river. The water was so clear that you could see the fish swimming at the bottom. The river was not hollow, I had a foothold on it. The air was mild, and the sun warmed my skin. I still felt like I was there. I opened my eyes and pressed my hands over my mouth. In front of me was this same river. Not understanding what was happening, but not wanting to pass up my chance, I crossed the river and went deep into the lush forest on the other side. I knew I had left the Blood Pack. I only hoped I wouldn't head for a worse pack. I moved forward with more and more difficulty and was seized with vertigo before fainting.
POV Zachary
I was sitting at my desk with Samuel and Caleb, my twin brothers. There were three of us from the same cell. It also meant that when we found our partner, we would have the same one, she would be the chosen one of three for one. But for now, we were there, in my office, because I was still the eldest of the three by almost five minutes, and we were discussing how my brothers had let down their f**k buddies.
Sam: I had no choice. Alan didn't want her anymore.
Alan was Sam's wolf. Caleb had a wolf named Dylan, while mine was named Ryan. We, well, were easily two meters tall and we were all muscle. Our hair was black, and our eyes were ice blue. Our faces were cut off with knives, and we often faced advancing wolves eager to become our Luna. For my part, I did not take any regular girlfriends and always took care to choose my partners' s****l abuse randomly without ever taking the same one in order to avoid any risk.
Zach: Why didn't Alan want her anymore this time?
Sam: I don't know, but he keeps going around in circles in my head and growling at me when I approach this girl.
Caleb: I have the same problem as Dylan
Zach: Yes, Ryan is the same
I sighed softly and felt that someone was trying to connect with us.
-Alpha?
It was Jake, our Beta. He was in charge of patrolling the western border. The Bloody Moon Pack has caused a lot of problems in recent years, and we have been keeping a lot of eyes on that side.
Zach: What's Beta?
Jack: We have a problem on the western border
My brothers and I looked at each other and clenched our fists.
Zach: What kind of problem?
Jack: There's a young woman, my Alphas, she's in a terrible state, and she's fainted. What must I do for her?
Zach: Take her to the clinic. We'll see her later.
We got up and headed to the clinic. I felt my heart beating, everything broke, and my Wolf was even more active in my head. We arrived at the clinic and went to join Jack, who was waiting outside the room. I took a breath and was overwhelmed by the delicious smell of red fruit and chocolate.
The three Alphas: Mine
Jack looked at us and laughed.
Jack: No, Alpha, I'm not your companion
Zach: You've got her smell on your i***t. Where is she?
I had spoken in a low growl. Jack showed us the door to the room behind him, telling us that she was with the doctor.
Jack: You see, Alpha, given the state I found her, I'm wondering if I told me that it would be easier for her if she woke up, and it's a woman who examines her.
Caleb: What do you mean, Jack?
He ran his hands over his face and sighed before answering.
Jack: She has scars all over her body, some old, but some more recent. They are not small, but frighteningly thin. She had only one sweater worn out as clothing. In short, this little girl must have lived through hell.
