(Winter POV)
"Congrats guys. You were just wow" Amera commented as we smiled.
"Thank you!" I said happily as Aiden laughed.
"You guys were lit! The chemistry between you was just wow! Are you sure you guys are not in a relation?" Kylie, one of our dance group members asked as I felt Amera tense.
"We are not" Aiden said as I nodded.
"I’m sorry I asked" she said her voice now low as if someone scolded her.
"It's ok. Many people ask that. So it’s not an issue" I said as she nodded and I saw her eyes momentarily go to Amera then back down.
I looked at Amera confused but she only smiled and winked.
"Say! How about we go celebrate this victory? All treat on me?" she said excited.
"But we won. Let me treat you guys" Aiden said as Amera frowned.
"Are you sure?" she asked as he nodded.
"We will share!" I said as Aiden grinned at me.
"Ok then. My brother is actually coming to pick me up. We will ask him for a ride." she said.
"But there are 7 of us. Wont the car be crowded?" I asked as she smirked.
"Nop. Miles brought his car. Half will come with me and half with him" she said as I nodded.
*10 minutes later*
A familiar black car stopped in front of us as my eyes widen. Alan, the stranger from before got out all mighty and powerful.
My heart unknowingly skipped a beat as he removed his shades and made an eye contact with me.
"You’re here finally" Amera said as he rolled his eyes.
"I got held in a meeting" he said.
"Aren’t you Alan Richard Davis?!" Aiden suddenly exclaimed as I looked at him shocked.
"You know him?" I asked as he nodded a yes.
"He is one of the top 10 richest and handsome men in last year edition and he is nominated this year for the same" he said as my eyes widen.
I looked at Alan as he smirked and winked at me.
"He is your brother?" Aiden asked as Amera nodded. "So you’re a Davis?" he asked as she rolled her eyes.
"I hate people using that title on me" she said. "Come on lets go. They must have already reached the cafe. If we are late they will eat by themselves." Amera said getting in the car.
I followed her behind and Aiden was going to enter when Alan stopped him.
"Sit in front" he said as both Aiden and my eyes widen.
"Excuse me? No! I’m sitting in the back" Aiden argued as Alan... Growled??
"I don’t sit in the front. I hate sitting in front" Alan argued as Aiden glared at him.
"Oh for god sake! I will sit in the front! Alan, come this side!" Amera shouted clearly annoyed. She pushed her brother to her side before getting on the front. Both the boys huffed and glared at each other before they settled on either side of me.
Yep. Definitely going to be a long ride. I already felt hot with both huge body (huge compared to mine) sat on two side.
I shivered as sparks filled my body at the contact of Alan.
I looked at him as he gave me a wide smile. Looking at Aiden I only saw him glaring at Alan making me give him a nudge.
"So I hope you were not so late" Alan said starting a conversation.
"Ahh yes. Thank you for that. If I was a few more minutes, I’m sure I would have being kicked out" I said smiling as he nodded giving back a smile.
"Wait you guys know each other before?!" Aiden asked shocked.
"Yea. He dropped me here. If it wasn’t for him I would have being really late" I said as he turned his body a little to face me.
"What have I told you about talking to strangers?! And taking a ride from them!!" he said angrily as my eyes widen.
"Don’t talk to her like that. And she rode with me" Alan said growling.
"I will talk to her as I wish. And you are clearly a stranger" Aiden fired back as I felt Alan shiver beside me.
"Aiden! Don’t be rude!" I scolded him as he glared at me.
"I’m not being rude. I’m protecting you" he said as I sighed.
"Aiden..." I called as he looked at me.
"I’m protecting you from the likes of him, Winter. He is a damn player. He changes girls like he changes clothes and I can clearly see you are his next target. I won’t let that. I promised I will protect you from another breakdown. I will not let you go back to the stage when he left you. I won’t!" he shouted.
My eyes filled with tears as I looked at him. I know he found me in that pathetic situation but he needs to believe that I will not go back to that stage.
The car stopped suddenly senting me jerking forward.
"Alan. Calm down!" Amera said but he doesn’t respond.
I turned and my eyes widen as he kept shivering his hand pressing on his closed eyes. I saw tears in the corner of his eyes and somehow my heartfelt even more hurt.
His knuckles are almost white and he was shaking more and more as time pass by.
"Come with me" Amera said as she got out and dragged him with her to the side walk. The city side was long gone and now the area was full of corn farms.
They went behind a bunch of trees and 5 minutes later only Amera came out.
"I’m sorry for that. He is a bit sensitive on heartbreaks and love" she said as I nodded slowly.
"Is he going to be ok?" I asked as she looked at me.
"He will be fine." she sighed before looking at Aiden.
He was silent as he stared out the window.
"I think we can extend the treat to the next day" I said as Amera agreed.
"That’s a good idea. Tell me your address I will drop you guys"
