(Winter POV)
"Winter! Get down here this instant! I told you to pack yesterday! You're going to be late for the flight if you don't hurry!" Taylor, my best-friend, shouted as I tried zipping up the last of my suitcase.
"Great. She is pissed off" I murmured as I tried to carry 3 suitcases out of my room.
"WINTER!!" she screamed making me screech and dropped one of my suitcases.
"I'm coming. I'm coming!" I shouted picking up the fallen suitcase.
I walked into the living room and dropped all my suitcases and flopped on one of the sofas ignoring the fuming beast.
"Winter! Get your a*s off the sofa and into the car. You will be late." she said as I sigh.
"Alright alright," I said . "I have 3 hours left for the take-off. The airport is just half an hour away. so relax" I said as she threw a cushion at me.
"You have 1 hour," she said.
"No. Flight time is 7 and it's only 5," I said as I look at the clock.
"No. The flight time is 6 and hence an hour!" she said as my eyes widen.
"What?!" I said as I searched my purse for my ticket.
"s**t! Let's go!" I said as I notice the time.
"I swear I read it as 7!" I screeched as we rushed to her car.
We made our way to the airport as my best friend gave me a long a*s lecture of how irresponsible I am.

"You're late!" a voice came as we took my bags from the car trunk.
“I’m so sorry! I misunderstood the time" I said as Aiden, my dance partner/ best friend started putting my bag on a trolley.
"Don't you always" he laughed as I huffed and slapped his arm.
"Alright that's all," Taylor said as she turned to me with a sad smile.
"I'll miss you," I said as I hugged her.
She laughed as she patted my back.
"It's only for 6 months," she said.
"That's too long without you": I whined.
"Your right!" She said as she started crying. "I'll miss you!" she continued.
"Alright. Break it up, girls. We have a flight to catch" Aiden said as we huffed and glared at him for interfering.
"Alright then. Sis, you take everything?" She asked as I nodded.
"Your application?" she continued as I nodded.
"You’re ID?" she asked as I rolled my eyes nodding
"Yes yes I took everything mom," I asked as she squinted her eyes.
"Alright Alright. Get going before you miss the flight," she said as I gave one last hug and went to the check-in with Aiden.

We settled in our seats and the flight hostess securely strapped us in for the take-off.
"I still can't believe we are going to the world's most prestigious dance academy," he said as I nodded excitedly.
"Me too! I just can't process it. I just hope we fit in perfectly" I said as he nodded in the same fear.
In two days we are going to be trainees at the finest richest and the most famous dance academy - "Vibrance Academy".
It's every dancer's dream to enter into the academy and an ordinary part-time job person like me had no chance.
But still, here I am going to the academy through scholarship. I just hope I’ll be able to reach up to the dancers there.
An announcement went through the flight informing us of the departure.
The flight moved and I looked out the window bidding my country a goodbye for 6 months.
"Goodbye New York! Hello California"

Alan POV
"Is the border check complete?"
"Yes, sir."
"No threats"
"None till now"
"Ok then call me if there is anything else," I said before ending the call with my beta.
The pack seems secure for now. There was no rouge attack for a month but I still need to be extra precautious.
My pack is slowly but building up to be one of the strongest pack but it still needs time. My pack is too prone to rouge attack and the fact that my father is getting weaker day by day is not helping.
The first rouge attack happened 10 years ago when I was in new York for high school. My father immediately calls for me to come back.
I had to leave everything behind and continue my life in California.
My eyes immediately found its way to the picture on my table. I smiled as I saw my 15-year-old beautiful brunette with light brown eyes looking at me with a goofy smile.
It’s being 5 years. I can’t wait to see her.
"I bet she looks stunning." My wolf, Alphian, said as I nodded in agreement.
A knock on the door interrupts my thought.
Clearing my throat I sat on my chair before muttering a "come in"
"Good evening sir. I have completed the agenda for tomorrow's meeting. Shall I read it out?" My assistant, Emma asked as I nodded.
She started reading out the agenda talking brief of all the events.
"Emma, did you book the ticket for next week's flight to new York?" I asked eagerly at the thought of seeing my mate after years
"No, sir. I have come to inform this too. Your father wants you to stay in the pack until the threat is secured. He says you have an alpha meeting for the next week you can't miss" she said ad I growled.
"What?! How did he know about the trip?" I asked angrily.
I have been trying to go to new York for a month now and each time father seems to interfere and break it.
"He asked me for your agenda" she whimpered as I let out another animistic growl.
"You can go now," I said as she nodded and walked out.
"If he thinks ill leave my Winter just because she is human, he has another thing coming" I muttered as I walked out of my office to confront my father.
