PROLOGUE
He almost whispered but she heard him clearly.
"f**k, Ian. Just tell me!" He shouted, that's when she stopped, put her paint brush down, closed her eyes, took a deep breath to calm herself.
Kapag sinabi ko sa'yo, now what? Will things go back on how they used to be? Will things get better?" El just stared at her as he silently broke into tears because he felt helpless but she didn't move an inch like it didn't bother her at all. She forced a smile then continued, "Hindi naman di'ba? Coz we live differently now. I ain't your leading lady anymore, I am just a supporting character— we cannot go back to our days anymore, El." That last part was the hardest phrase to say to him but she still managed to say so.
"You should have told me still." She just smiled at him, tumayo, lumapit sa kinatatayuan ni El at marahang pinunasan ang luha nito.
"No El, you should go back to her." Again, a smile but not a happy smile registered on her face. That was the most painful smile she ever had.
