In the morning Monika wake up on her own and shifted near to Utkarsh. She embraced him on his one side. Utkarsh woke up abruptly and saw her hand over his torso. Annoyed by seeing her disturbing in his sleep he tried to lift her hand up but she hugged him more.
He sighed in annoyance and Monika smiled. She looked up at him and grazed her finger on his creased forehead.
" What's the matter? "
She asked
" You"
"Really? I want to.. "
" Yeah, tell me what is it then may be I can excuse. "
Monika felt the change in his behaviour which she feared. She took a deep breath.
" There is something off about you. Something is wrong in your head. We have so many things to clear up. "
Utkarsh narrowed his eyes on her.. But didn't said anything. She sighed, she had to give him sometime.
" Good morning honey "
Monika pecked his lips and shifted away to leave the bed.
Utkarsh shook his head in annoyance and also left the bed.
He checked his phone doubting if Monika searched anything in his phone. But the password was there so he sighed in relief. Then he saw Tina's messages in w******p and started replying her.
He was drunk or what last night? That was not the plan of f*****g her. Last night he was behaving like a little boy in heat. The f**k! He tried to wash that guilt away by saying he was not her first. She won't make fuss about s*x. Girls like her... No no don't, he was also at the fault. He will deal with this matter later if she tried to blackmail him about it.
Monika came out of bathroom after taking the shower in her bathrobe and started looking in her bag for something to wear.
Utkarsh got up from the bed and went inside bathroom.
When he finished Monika was sitting cross leg on the bed wearing a greenish tinged golden suit.
"I want to talk to you. "
" Not now Monika we have so many things to attend"
"Should I go outside or someone is going to call us out? " Monika asked boringly.
" Wait we will go together "
Monika nodded and saw him changing his clothes in the closet. He dressed hurriedly and told her to go with him.
Again rituals started muh dikhae, pehli rasoi, etc etc. At last house welcoming party for the newly wedded couple.
Avantika personally came to help her daughter to dress up. She bought Kanan and prachi's designed lengha.
" Mom please stop all these expensive stuffs " Monika whined remembering Utkarsh asking about money matters.
" What! I am here na. You don't have to worry about anything. Karan I mean your respected father in law asked me to buy something for you. So just remember now you are 'The Wadhwan ' Expensive is not the word meant for you. "
Yeah! If she is in not so much of thinking process maybe she would find peace in spending her husband's money happily.
" Now get up wear this, your makeup artist going to come in any minute. "

Avantika complimented her and lead her outside.
Monika looked at the guest crowding the whole place. Music was playing in the background.
One by one people were coming towards the stage and congratulations them with gifts.
But her mind was at different places at the same time. Why her mind was not quit thinking about Utkarsh behaviour.
Then her father's family came to wish her again. Oh when will they quit annoying her!
" Congratulations Monika "
" Thanks " she gave side kiss as a gesture of act only. Otherwise they can kiss my a*s!
Always so annoying posing for cameras. They never get bored of posing all the time?
She watched Utkarsh and Tina was making small conversation with each other unlike last time.
" Come on bride and groom, it's a time for couple dance " Avantika called both of them on the dance floor. She was so happy to see her daughter was finally settling in the Wadhwan family.
Monika and Utkarsh took their position on the floor. Her one hand was resting on his shoulder and other was in his hand. They danced holding their hands with a physical tension between them. Utkarsh can feel the reluctance and attitude in Monika's posture while keeping his hand on the small of her back. She was trying not to step on his shoes while taking twist and turns during the dance moves.
Monika's memory trailed back in past when in college Tina and Utkarsh used to dance like that in college functions. At that time a thought crossed her mind to be in Tina's shoes one day. And now she can't get the fact that it's not her witty imagination only. So unreal and so unnerving.
What's his catch behind this marriage? Despite of last night he loved her but her mind was still overworking.
Finally the dancing t*****e ended after pecking their lips and both of them parted away.
Full day was tiring for Monika physically and mentally. After end of the function she just wanted to hit the bed to get the necessary sleep.
She entered in her room and removed the jewellery one by one near the dressing table. She heard Utkarsh was inside the bathroom and was talking to someone from last 15 mins.
She was waiting for him to finish up so that she can also wash her makeup. But he was not making any move. Tired of waiting she went near the door but she thought to Eva's dropping on his voice.
Her world froze when she heard him.
" Love you Tina "
She gulped repeating his words in her mind.
Utkarsh came out of bathroom and passed by her side casually.
" What's going on between you and Tina? "
She asked with gritted teeth.
" Nothing, we are old friend catching up our old times " he sat down on the bed and kept his mobile in the phone stand for charging.
" Do you think i am stupid! "
She shouted on him angrily and walked out of the room feeling suffocated inside the same room.
This can't be true. That's not happening with her. She surely heard him but he he.. Last night events played in her mind. Tears started brimming in her eyes. Her heart sank. No, he don't want to fool her. Tina and him? Can they go so low? They want to hurt her?
She remembered him Kissing her and saying her 'I love you'
Another liar in her life, everytime when someone says that they love her, they truly lies. Her biological father said he love her but he didn't, Suraj told that he loved her when he accepted her as his daughter but he did lied. She fell into that love trap again.
She's so stupid.
She laughed manically, her breathing became heavy and erratic with each step she took.
Utkarsh was smiling to himself that his plan hits the final stage and time came for the real celebrations.
Tina and Utkarsh planned this to humiliate Avantika by making her daughter aware of her being ditched on the day after her wedding. So that nobody have to fake it just deal with it now.
Avantika will be damned to know that history repeats again. The mother and daughter can never become a one man's woman.
Seeing the accusing look in her eyes Utkarsh was sure that Monika was going to run and cry on her Mother's shoulder. According to their plan, they are going to control Avantika now, can teach her how the Karma works because Karma is a b***h and that definitely bites back. Everytime the world doesn't go round her. This time they are going to make her taste her own medicine.
He was going to congratulate Tina on phone when he heard voices from outside.
He ran outside in hurry and found Monika was lying unconscious near the stairs and blood dripping from her forehead.
