AVA POV
I kept looking around with the name sign on my hand. I have been waiting for when Jasmine's plane is going to land. I came all the way to pick her up because I know she doesn't know her way around.
Finally it was announced that the plane had landed.
The passengers began to walk out one after the other. Some walked to me and hugged their loved ones who were waiting for them.
I looked closely to see if I would be able to tell if she was the one coming out.
I kept looking closely at all the ladies walking out, but none of them seemed like her.
I held the sign high above my head, hoping she would see it.
I was still looking right in front when I felt a tap at my back.
I turned to see who it was.
A beautiful lady with long beautiful black hair was smiling at me. She removed her glasses, and oh my, her grey eyes are just so beautiful and so unique.
“Ava?” she asked, still smiling.
My eyes went wide open when I heard her call my name.
“Jasmine right?” I wanted to confirm her identify first.
“Yes girl it is me. Oh my goodness, you look so beautiful. Finally I get you see you girl. I am so happy to see you. I missed you so much.” she threw her bag to the ground before jumping on me in excitement.
We almost crashed on the ground in front of everyone.
I recovered from the shock as I also hugged her, feeling so happy that I had finally seen her.
“I am so happy to see you for the very first time. You look so beautiful. Woah, I never imagined you would be this beautiful.” I complimented her.
“I am not that beautiful, my dear best friend, so stop trying to compliment me nicely.” she said, smiling.
“I am not trying to lie to you or anything. You are so beautiful. I am being honest. Woah.” I said, not minding that I have been admiring her beautiful for a long time.
“Thank you then. Woah, London is so beautiful. The wind here is also different. Thank you for helping me out to come here. You were the only one I could think of to help me out. Sorry if I may be inconveniencing you.” she said.
“No need to worry. Of course, you are not inconveniencing me. I was so worried about you when you didn't reply to my messages and I couldn't get to you. I am so excited to have you here. We have a lot to talk about.” I smiled.
“Before we settle down to talk, come on, take me to that bastard of your boyfriend who has refused to leave you alone and who dares to cheat on you. I told you I would help you to send him away. He will regret coming over in the first place. Let's leave this airport.” Jasmine said as she picked up her bag.
We walked out of the airport and stopped a taxi who took us to my house.
“Right now I don't have to the time to look around London so you better know that after we are done getting rid of him, we will be going on a tour to see the beautiful places in London.” she said during the ride home.
“Sure we will spend a lot of time together.” I answered.
I looked at her and noticed that something was going on with her, although she was trying to hide it. I must make her spill it out to me.
We got to the house. I smiled as I allowed her in.
“Waoh you have a really good-looking house. I like the designs.” she smiled as she looked around.
“ Thank you.”
“Babe who is this?”
I turned to see Lance looking at me.
Oh, so now he can finally leave his room.
“Who I am is none of your business, you disgusting animal.” Jasmine spat out, taking me by surprise because I wasn't expecting she would say that to him.
“Ava this is why I keep telling you to be careful with who you bring into our house. You decided to bring someone who has no respect for me or what so ever. You should have discussed with me that you will be bringing someone over.” he said, acting like he has all the authority or he was the one who was paying the rent.
“Look who is talking. You are so shameless for real. Who the f**k do you think you are that she will ask for your permission to bring a friend over?” Jasmine asked him.
“Look you slut, I honestly don't have time for you. Shut up when I am talking to my woman. No one has given you the f*****g right to talk back at me like that. Do you know who the hell I am?” he asked.
“Yes I know who the hell you are and I can tell you who you are. You are nothing but a lazy ass disappointment. You act like you own this place but we all know you are nothing but a jobless person who has no future or what so ever. You should honestly be ashamed of yourself. Your fellow mates are out their wearing expensive suits and they own a very expensive company where they are doing well but here you are. You dare not call yourself a man. You don't deserve that title.” Jasmine said to him not backing down.
She sure is bold just like I could tell through her messages.
“I will give you a dirty slap if you keep disrespecting me.” he warned her.
“And so what? Do you think I am scared of what you will do to me? Hell no I am not scared of any human being. Instead you are the one who should be scared of what I am going to do to you next. Now if you don't want to have the greatest shock of your life then I will advise you to gently go in there, pick your stuff and leave this house this minute.” she threatened him.
He began to laugh all of a sudden.
“Damn I must say you are really a comedian. So you think I can just listen to a complete stranger who wants me to leave my own girlfriend's house?” he asked.
“In case you have forgotten I am not your girlfriend but your ex girlfriend. So you better just pack your things and leave.” I told him.
“Ava I am so disappointed at you. After everything you decided to include a third party. You even stand there and watch her disrespect me. I have told you and will keep telling you that we both belong together and no one is going to separate us.” he said stubbornly.
I gave Jasmine an eye contact that says
‘I told you so. He is just too stubborn.’
Jasmine let out a cold laughter that made us all turn to look at her.
“Listen to me Lance, I have heard alot about you and I know your type which is why I have never liked you.” she said.
“Wait a minute, really Ava? You told your friend everything and made her come over to London. Why do you have to do that? I didn't know you to be such a weakling.” he laughed.
I looked at the mane who's words once swept me off my feet. I can't believe he is the same person calling me a weakling.
“You have no right to call her that you fool.” Jasmine looked so angry now.
“I have every right to call her whatever I want to call her. She is my woman. She belongs to me. I owe her. What is her's is also mine.” he spat out.
“I am not a property.” I glared at him.
“I was going to ask what about what you have if it is also her's but then I remembered you have nothing at all. You should call yourself the weakling here and not her. You are so pathetic.” Jasmine smiled.
Then he did something that made my jaw dropped.
He slapped Jasmine.
“Shut the f**k up and don't you ever talk to me like that ever again.” he pointed at her.
“Lance are you insane? Why will you just slap her like that?” I asked wondering why he will even raise his hand on a female. Now I can see his true colors are coming out in the light.
“I will slap her and slap her again and again if she keeps tasting my little patience.” he said not even feeling remorseful for what he did.
“You just made the huge mistake of your life touching me. And guess what, I am going to make you pay in a huge way for what you just did. You just woke a beast up. You shouldn't have done that. How you will bare the consequences.” Jasmine said frowning at him.
As I was wondering what she meant by beast, I began to share strange sounds like something was cracking or breaking.
I looked around wondering where the sound was coming from only to notice it was coming from my best friend.
Right in my very own eyes, she changed into a dog.
I looked closely and notice it doesn't look like any dog. This looks exactly like wolf. It was so big and brown in colour.
My eyes went wide open as I began to recall all our messages and how she would tell me stories about werewolves.
I never had any idea that they were actually real, and also, she is one of them. This is so shocking.
I wanted to be so scared, but for some strange reason, I wasn't. I was only feeling shocked, and that's all.
“What sort of prank is this? Why is she a wolf? What is happening here? Ava brought her back.”
I turned to see Lance already wet his shorts as he was trembling with so much fear.
Before I could say anything, Jasmine, as a wolf, let out a loud growl sound, and she opened her mouth to show her sharp fangs.
With a loud shriek, Lance ran out of the house.‘’
