Webber glowered at the witness. When the witness had finished, Judge Lex looked in my direction. “No objections, Lady Strange?” “None, your Honor. Thank you for asking.” “Any rebuttal, Lady Strange?” “No, your Honor, the account was accurate.” “Very well, Lady Strange, Lady Webber. This court will recess until ten forty five.” The judge pounded the gavel.
