"Why are you leaving?" Nick asked, his voice full of concern.
"I have to go Nick. I'm not safe here."
"Why? Did something happen with Daniel?" He asked quickly.
"His grandmother found out about the pregnancy..."
"You are pregnant? When did that happen? Did grandma find out? Is the baby for Daniel?" He asked unsure as his gaze dropped to my belly.
"To be honest with you, Nick. I don't know what to do now." I shook my head as tears streamed down my face.
"Hey, hey, why is she crying?" Chase came inside the bedroom and glared at Nick.
"No. Chase. I'm fine. In fact, this is Nick, my friend." I introduced, wiping my tears.
"What did grandma say?" Nick asked again.
"Grandma?" I asked as Chase picked up my suitcase and went out.
