"What are you saying, Nick?" I squinted my eyes at him.
"Yes, Alyssa. I like you. No scratch that, I'm in love with you. I've tried to ignore it, Alyssa but I can't especially now that you are going to marry Daniel. He doesn't deserve you, after all that he's done he doesn't deserve you," He said.
I was surprised at what he was saying. Did Nick like me?
"Since when? What about Yolanda?"
"She is just a friend who insists on being my girlfriend to get something real between us but it's not working. I'm always thinking about that girl who used to be my neighbor. She was the one I couldn't stop thinking about," He smiled at that.
