I take Mia and spin her around the dance floor for a few songs before I send her to mingle with the other pack members. I was truly surprised by how easy she flowed into them and became a part of their lives. I found myself walking the perimeter of the party. I kept this feeling of being watched since we were at her graduation. I don’t like it one bit. I started to patrol the area when I noticed Precious sitting and patiently waiting on someone. “Hello, Precious. Did you get to see the ceremony?” She gives me a resounding meow before she scent marks my legs and runs over to Mia. I watch as Mia picks her up in her arms and kisses the top of her head.
