Monday morning I wake up to Mia’s scent filling the room. She smells heavenly and I can’t help but wonder if her scent has always been this strong. She is already awake and getting ready for school. I climb out of bed and walk up behind her and give her a quick kiss on the cheek. “Good morning, Baby girl. How did you sleep?”
“I had some weird dreams. I’m really tired this morning and I don’t feel good at all. I’m going to borrow some of your clothes today, if you’re okay with that.” She pulls a pair of my sweatpants and one of my t-shirts out of my drawers. I know they are about two to three sizes too big, but if this is what she wants then I’m okay with it. I help her get them out and I notice the flush to her cheeks.
