After Will left me in my math class, I sat down and got my books out to start the day. With it being the Monday after spring break, everyone was still a bit brain dead. Our teacher took it easy on us today and gave us a simple worksheet. He said that this was all he was giving us today and the rest of the period would be ‘quiet’ time for us to use as we like. I finished it in a few minutes and decided to pull out a book I had been meaning to start reading. It’s the first book in a young adult series about a girl in a dystopian society who gets selected to be in this weird fight to the death simulation. I’ve been told they are good books, so I decided to go ahead and read them. I was also told that there are movies too, but I’m just going to read the book first.
