Once we get out from behind the waterfall and exit the creek, I spread the blanket out on the ground and pull her next to me to sit. Our clothes are still wet and so are our bodies, so we are best to just air-dry for now. I pull the food from the picnic basket and realize that Cookie made us a whole picnic spread. She packed ham, deviled eggs, potato salad, coleslaw, and mac and cheese.
