"Hey mom looked at that!" 13 year old me said, showing my mother a beautiful butterfly that I caught. "Oh honey it's pretty. Go find another one and then we can put them in jars okay sweet?" "Ok mommy." I said as I ran off towards the field. My mom went back and sat with my dad. My brother Dylan who was 13 years old was at a friend's house doing a 'home work'. The day passed by with all of us doing fun things together. I just love how our family is ;always there for each other. We sat around the table telling jokes and eating mashed potatoes with baked chicken and rice mixed with chopped vegetables. My mother was the most amazing cook I have ever met. She was laughing at something my father said while i was crying because of laughing so hard. My brother just sat there chuckling and staring at us. It was time for us to go to bed so i said good by to every body then went upstairs and brushed my teeth. My room was a light blue color with white spots to look like clouds. There was a large closed and a medium sized bed which was just perfect for me, cover with blue and white sheets. There was a window just above my bed that looked down into the dark green forest. A desk was put to the left of my bed with reading books because my parents knew I loved to reading. I had a small bathroom connected to my room. the next day I woke up to the sound of laughing downstairs"Morning mommy and daddy."I said. They looked up from wherever they were doing and replied a good morning to me. My parents were so in love and i wanna be just like them someday. "Honey we have to go to work today so be ready so that your father and i can drop you guys off to school. Go check on your brother and see if he's ready."my mother told me. I went to see if my before was ready. When i reached his room he still sleeping. An idea formed in my head as i jumped on top of him. All he did was groan and grunt trying to get me off of him. My brother and i were always close so i knew that he would never hurt me intentionally. I threw my self on the floor and faked hurt and sobbed. In a flashed he was on there floor kneeling down beside me apologizing. I just smirked at him and snatch as his face turned into confusion and then realization. "You tricked me!... In gonna get you for that!" As he said that i dashed out of the room and closed the door. I was unnaturally fast for a human and i don't know why. My brother was fast too but not as fast a as me. I passed mom's message through the door to him. Two hours later We were in the car driving to school, suddenly in wanted to pee. My father pulled over the car and my better and i came out and brought me to a nearby rest room. Two minutes later i was finished and washed my hands and came out. When we went out, I was far from ready to face what i saw next. Police cars and people were crowding around a badly damaged vehicle which looked like my parents'. Dylan and i pushed through the crowd to find that it was indeed my parents. Paramedics carried my mother and father who were both unconscious to the ambulance. My father wasn't that much injured just a cur above his head, but my mother..... There weren't even words to describe how she looked. I screamed and cried for both my parents and so did my brother three hours later Dylan and i sat in the hospital waiting for the results from the doctors about my parents. They came out with a sad expression on their faces. "Kids we have good news and bad news. which one would you like to hear first?" A woman with dark broom hair and hazel eyes asked."umm good? I guess" my brother said. "Well your father is awake and he has sustained little damage beside a small cut just above his head and a fractured rib and is awake right now... Bu-" she paused arms began to look nervous as she continued."-your mother didn't make it. The impact of the accident was mainly on her side and she sustained multiple damages which cause massive internal bleeding. It was too much for her body top take so it shut down and there was nothing we could do." It was as if Every thing was going in slow motion. My brother just broke down crying on the floor, shaking his head and blocking his ears repeating the word no. I knelt down beside him also sobbing but trying my best to comfort him. "I'm so sorry for your loss, But she did leave some messages for you two that I was supposed to pass to you."she continued with sympathy clear on her face."come with me." She directed us to a room where my mother was rested peacefully on the bed. Her now pale skin still made her look beautiful along with her long lifeless jet black hair and pale pink lips. Seeing her made me start sobbing again. The doctor went by and took out the golden heart-shaped locket that she always wore around her neck and hand it to me. Along with a small locked box. "Your mother told you to always wear it and never take it off. It holds something great that only you can unlock and you must receive that You'll find out when you'll turn eighteen." I put it on and it fit perfectly in my heart shaped birthmark on my chest. "And you she said that you must always protect your sister no matter what and always stay together. Everything at happens you must always try to help each other."
