Chapter 4 It had been two days since Derek had left Charlie’s place. The first night he spent at the shelter. He didn’t sleep much because he couldn’t shut off his mind. He kept coming up with plans then discarding them. The next morning he came to at least one decision. It would be better and easier if he found somewhere safe to leave most of his things for the time being.
