Chapter Twenty-Four Jia focused on the path in front of her. She might not have driven a lot of six-legged buggies, but she’d practiced control of similar ground vehicles in the simulator. Her time on scout bikes had familiarized her with control of a true ground vehicle. After five minutes, she felt like she had a handle on the buggy. It wasn’t like there were a lot of other people to avoid, but the rugged terrain presented its own challenges. She turned hard to avoid smashing into a tall outcropping, sending the vehicle wide.
