MARRIED BUT TO WHOM?

Chapter 1 Shock

"What the hell are you saying, Shaurya? We will never do this to our daughter. She is our only daughter " Mahesh Shergill said to his son. 

"But dad, why not? He is a successful businessman and a very responsible person. She will be happy with her. He will take care of her and will bring her back to normal life. " Shaurya tried to make his father understand. 

"No way, you know Ananya's condition. She is mentally not prepared for this. After that incident she made herself a machine. She just works and works. She is still living in her past. She won't be able to love him back, Shaurya. Your sister is not in that mental state, she will never say yes to this marriage proposal." Pallavi(Shaurya's mother) tried to convince Shaurya. 

"Mom, don't you want Ananya to live like a normal person. Don't you want her to get married? Mom, he will give Ananya, a happy married life, a happy family. He will never leave her. Ananya will definitely love him back."

"Really, what if he leaves her after knowing her past. If he came to know why, she doesn't want to get married. What if he knows that she is not mentally stable."

"Dad, trust me. Just for once, let Ananya meet Abhinav. He is Ayesha's brother. You don't trust me, I understand. But you can trust Ayesha. She will never let her brother harm Ananya. If she wasn't sure about him she never said that to me."

"Shaurya, First we will meet him and his family and we will tell them everything about Ananya's condition. If after knowing everything about her, they agreed to this marriage. Then we can think about it." His dad said to him. 

"Okay dad, I will talk with Abhinav." Shaurya said and left somewhere. 

Ananya is the only sister of Shaurya and their parents loved both of them so much. They lived in the USA for 15 years but 4 years ago they came back to India. They have a huge business here. And Shaurya is handling all the business with his dad. He has his own business also. 

Ananya has been in Australia for some business for the last three months. She always keeps herself busy at work. Once she had so many friends but one incident changed her life. A girl who used to live every second of life now doesn't talk about life and dreams. Once she truly believed that love is the most beautiful and most important thing in this world but now when she sees someone talking about love. She advised them to do some decent work not love. She was that one person to whom you can rely in difficult times but now she doesn't give a f**k to anyone. 

Ananya is sitting in her office in her queen chair, she is Managing director of A S Group. She was going through some documents when she got a call from her brother. 

"Hey little sister, where are you? I have been calling since last night, but you didn't pick." 

"I was busy bro. Tell me anything important?" 

"Yes, mom is missing you a lot. Come soon." 

"I am trying. Maybe next week I will come back to Delhi." 

"Great, See you soon. Bye" 

"Bye Bro" 

"Send Mr Kumar to my cabin.", Ananya told her assistant on the intercom. Soon someone knocked at the door, she knew it's Mr Kumar so she made him knock for multiple times and then gave him permission to come in. He is standing in front of Ananya like a maniac because everyone in her office knows that she will never tolerate any mistake in work and if she notices that she will make that person's life a living hell. "Mr Kumar, what do you think I am?" He was shocked to hear the question from their MD. "Ma'am you are the managing director of our company." He replied so politely. "Really, but I thought I am your assistant. That's why you make this kind of mistake and give me an unnecessary headache." She said in a cold tone. Mr Kumar tried to explain, "No ma'am" But he was cut off by Ananya, "What do you mean by no ma'am. If you can't keep up with my level then show yourself the exit door." She held a file in her hand and showed to him, "This, you called it a presentation. It's nothing but a bundle of papers and f*****g dull presentation. What do you think, investors have that much time to go into this? We will just have 15 minutes to show our potential to them but with this level of work we won't be able to show our caliber for the next 15 years." She was screaming so loud that every employee of the office could hear what they were talking. In her office, there is no one who can talk in front of her. They fear her too much. Of course they can't tell that on her face but behind her they called her b***h,heartless, mannerless and what not. She knew everything but she doesn't give a f**k to anyone. "Look, Mr Kumar, you have 5 hours to give me a damn presentation which shows what we are capable of otherwise you can collect your things from your cabin and leave this office." 

She said and left the office. When she was walking through her office everyone was working, because if she saw anyone doing anything but work. They will face the worst side of her. 

Ananya is seated on a couch in a bar and having drinks. She is wearing a black mid thigh dress with light makeup. She is drinking like she didn't taste the alcohol for ages. She had very high alcohol tolerance. While she was having her drink, she heard a male voice, "Why are you drinking that much?" She feels annoyed when someone asks her question because she doesn't like to give answers to anyone. But irritatedly she said without looking at the person, "Because I am going to pay for it." and she gulped another tequila shot. "Do you want me to give you company?" Now she looked at the person but she drank so much so she didn't get the clear view of his face, lights were also dim there. She sat straight in front of that person and asked, "Would you like to give me company in bed or in drink only?" She didn't see his face but she can feel him smirking at her question, "Anything you want?" She was about to answer him when a girl came to that man and hugged her. "Where were you? I have been waiting for you upstairs." instead of that person Ananya replied, "He was trying to get in bed with me. But you ruined it." Ananya winked at that man and left from there.
