I arrived at the group home about ten minutes ago and Mr. James said that Destiny had been back since before eleven o'clock this morning, which was weird. I mean her pass was with her boyfriend and his parents. Why would she be back so soon? Destiny has been in this group home for almost two and a half months. Layla, Sara, Destiny, and I have become close friends. Once I finished putting my clothes in the hamper and taking my clothes out for school tomorrow before I headed to Destiny’s room. I knock on the door, but I don’t hear anything. I opened the door and saw Destiny on her bed asleep. I can tell she has been crying, and it breaks my heart to see someone I had grown close to cry themselves to sleep.
I hear a door close, and I know the other girls are back. I closed the door
