These past two weeks have been hard, but I need to keep going no matter how hard it gets. I have to thank the girls for being there for me. Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to keep my grades up. Now, we’re just waiting for the clock to strike midnight and I will be eighteen, and I will leave the group home. I had already done all my paperwork with my social worker today, so I could leave at midnight, and they even gave me three thousand dollars, which helps me because I didn’t have anything or anywhere to go.
