Milo's P.O.V.
We woke up early the next day, knowing we had quite the day planned out for us. We packed our belongings back inside the small duffel bag and met with Alpha CJ downstairs. We ate breakfast together, having small talk mostly. I looked at Ginnie through the corner of my eye, as I saw her looking at the Alpha a couple of times, her eyes filled with worry as she watched the heartbroken man. I couldn’t blame her for worrying about Alpha CJ. He was a kind man, and he had not deserved this fate. I did hope that one day, he would get a second chance mate, one that he could spend his life with, happy and in love. Once we were done eating, we said farewell to the Alpha and his Beta, as they walked with us towards the pack borders.
