"Mom! Dad is being annoying again! Help me!" I shouted and ran to her direction so I could use her as a human shield against my father. She put her hands on her hips and tried to look serious when she glared at my Dad who was already wearing his business suit.
"What’s happening?" She asked my father. I gripped on my mother’s apron like a small kid. My father put his briefcase above the kitchen table and my mother smacked his hand so he was forced to set it down on the floor instead.
