Shock was an understatement.
For I was beyond flabbergasted with what Prince Jaeden just blurted out. The mere fact that he was casually spitting out statements just like that baffled me. Basically, he is adding more weight onto my shoulders. As much as I wanted to talk back and argue with him, I am mindful that it would not do me any good since I wanted to ask some sort of a favor. If I end up bickering with the Vampire Prince, I would easily be denied for asking a favor.
