It was understandable.
Prince Jaeden might be confused as to what happened during his feeding session with Arth, but he is aware of how peculiar the feeling was. It was sensational, something that he had never felt before when he was drinking animal blood. All of his drinking sessions before were dreary and were nothing compared to this one. Aside from it being uneventful and uninteresting, it does not appear that he had gained a lot of energy from the juices. It does however, just what made him go forward with his everyday undead life.
