Lucian was not any random alpha wolf. He was a leader of alphas of moonlit city and the wielder of the earth dagger, giving him an edge over other alpha wolves. But he had lived an aloof life, buried in his duties and with no Luna by his side. Finally, when Elsa and his friend Rafael offered to take care of his duties, he got a chance to step out of the moonlit city to explore the world for some time, and probably find his mate.

Madelyn was not a regular girl living among humans. She lived with her adoptive human family for most of her life unaware of the supernatural world. She had deep secrets buried inside her heart and her powers were only ever-increasing much to her surprise. She had to seal or hide them for most of her life until she met wolves who wanted to use her or kill her.

Samael is a powerful wolf who has been just woken up from a slumber of centuries. He has one single motive. To kill the pureblood Elsa and end the descendant line.

But what will happen when their lives will entangle with Madelyn being in the center. Will Madelyn choose Samael, who has a powerful aura with a bad boy charm and is only good to her? Or will she pick the just and powerful alpha Lucian, who was determined to be a protector? Or will she end up rejecting both of them to carve her own path? Will she be able to endure the conflict of her heart, getting torn between two mates?

What will happen when these oddballs will meet?

What will happen to the journey of our beloved wolves Elsa, Rafael, Noah, and Lucian? Will they finally find purpose and peace? Or will history repeat itself?

#Teaser Chapter
"Run..." The screams of the entire village troubled Samael. What was he supposed to do? Kill her? How? "Alpha Samael, you have to make a decision now." Soren hesitated to ask. What he was asking his master was a sin, and for that, he would wander the surface of the earth like a ghost forever. Samael's hand trembled as he swallowed hard. Destiny was such a cruel thing. "The entire village will turn into ashes if we don't hurry. Here, take my water dagger." Cordelia offered first. Ida gulped a chunk of saliva and took a deep breath. She was only trying to delay it a moment longer. Ida decided she couldn't do it. She was about to run away when Anthony grabbed her hands. He shook his head, trying to remind her of the reason they were there. Ida kept pleading with him and the others that there must be a way, but Anthony took her earth dagger and gave it to Soren, along with his air dagger. "Weild it, Soren!" Samael ordered, handing over his fire dagger to him, completing the entire set. Soren did as asked, his eyes heavy with tears threatening to fall. "I will distract. You must attack when you find a gap." Samael reminded him again. He was convincing himself more than to Soren. "No! There must be another way." Ida sunk to the floor, her sobs getting louder and louder. Creepers started to rise from the ground, trying to stop Samael and Soren. But the two had the power to overcome it swiftly. "Ida, don't make it harder for us!" Samael pleaded, cutting through the creepers. He crawled next to her and begged her to understand. Ida looked at Samael with judging eyes. "How can you do that after everything?" "So, should we just let another village turn into dust by the next morning? And what do you think will happen after that? More guilt? More resentments? The more we delayed this, the more every one of us is suffering. And you know who is affected by this the most! Don't you?" Samael tried to reason with Ida. "You believe that we are doing this for her?" Ida's questioning eyes and disbelief voice even made Samael falter a bit. Samael took a long breath. He couldn't look her in the eye. Honestly, he hated himself for doing this. But they have dragged it too long. And if they delayed it further, there wouldn't be any species left for them to protect. Everything will turn into dust and ashes at the hands of the goddess of death. So, it was the right thing to do. They must bring an end to her. They must kill her while there was still something left for them to protect. "Yes, you know that!" Samael's eyes watered. "Nonsense!" Ida growled. She got up on her feet, wanting to run away as far as she could from this destruction. She can't witness it if she can't stop it from happening. But Samael caught her hands and stopped her. "Ida, you know I love her, too." Ida scoffed, shaking her head, shrieking in disbelief. "Tell that to yourself every day from now on. But we both know it is a lie. You failed, Samael. You failed." Ida jerked away, his clasp on her hands. "Stop thinking so highly of yourself, Ida. You know no one wants to do it here. We are already in pain for deciding to do this." Cordelia stepped out. "I should have taught you better." Ida mocked her, disregarding Cordelia's words. She was beginning to feel helpless. No one, not even Anthony, supported her. "Ida, she wants it too." Anthony sighed, trying to make her calm down. "Because we failed to give her hope, Anthony. We are again going to fail today. And this time, we can't make it right ever again." Ida tried to make him understand. Why was it so hard to believe that there could be another way they were overlooking? "Ida, I would die instead of her if I could," Soren said in a defensive voice. "Yet, her royal guard is the one going to slay her tonight. That is one way of putting it, Soren. I am ashamed that I had thought so highly of you once. You are supposed to protect her, not murder her." Ida frowned, glaring at him. If she had powers like Cordelia, probably she would have already killed Soren by bursting his veins. Soren lowered his eyes, guilt-ridden by Ida's words. For a moment, they even reconsidered their choice that night, but another explosion took place right at that moment, bringing them back to reality. The blazing fire had covered the entire night sky with thick, black smoke. Helpless screams of children and women and groans from men because of the pain had filled in the atmosphere, making it heavy and evil. Above the envelope of wails, fire, dust, and ashes, a blazing figure wreaked havoc on the land of dark faes mercilessly. If they didn't stop her that day, it would annihilate the species for sure. "I am sorry!" Samael apologized, in particular to none. He charged towards the glowing figure, regretting, crying, and wishing they had a different destiny. He prayed to the moon goddess to kill him with her. But life was cruel. Soren, Cordelia, and Anthony followed him. They had promised her to end this torturous life for her. She regretted living a life where she was no more the blessed one but the goddess of death. Samael stopped for a brief second, looking at the love of his life for one final time. She outshined everyone he had ever met. How he wished they were even ordinary powerless people! Why was fate so cruel upon them that he had to kill her with his hands! "Luna, let's be born again. This time let's be humans and love each other longer." Samael whispered to himself. But Luna looked at him as if she could hear her. Her eyes were fixated on him as if begging him to save her from that pain. Samael chuckled at their fate. They were supposedly immortals. They should have lived together, loving each other for a very, very long time. And yet, they couldn't even be there for a life worthy of an average human life span. "I love you," Samael whispered, looking at Luna. He assailed toward Luna to end the dance of destruction of the goddess of death, the others following him. Ida wiped the trailing tears. They outnumbered her that day. She ran away with a heavy heart, full of guilt at Agwi. It was the only place she could seal that demon in that tomb after everything was over. There was no way she would let Samael die or live in peace. He was going to live for eternity, repenting of his sin.
