Grace pov I was woke up to my mom busting in my door. Singing very loudly happy birthday to you. At that moment even though I wanted to sleep in I was really excited for tonight because hopefully I will find my mate the one person that will complete me and me being the alphas only child we are hoping on it being someone that can help me take care of my pack. “ mom can you please at least give me some time to wake up before you start hollering and stuffing food in my mouth” I said as I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes “ yes sweetie get ready for your big day” mom said as she left my breakfast at my desk and walked out of the room. Once she closed the door I got up and went through my normal morning routine brush my teeth and hair took a shower. Then I stepped out of my routine I really didn’t like to wear makeup or nice clothes but today I would make an exception. I put on a form fitting knee high dress that hugged all of my curves and showed off my Carmel skin after I put on a little of mascara and dark red lipstick that matched my dress. I walked downstairs and seen the dinner table was busy as usual we was the largest pack in the country there was barely a moment of peace but then something hit me a smell. It smelled like freshly cut grass I loved it I had to know where it was coming from but before I could follow the sent my father stepped in front of me with tears in his eyes. “ you look stunning baby girl me and your mother are so proud of the women that your becoming” dad said as he hugged me really tight to the point that I thought I was going to pass out “ okay dad I can’t breathe” I whispered to him and he let go “ sorry hunny I just couldn’t help myself” As dad let go and I was able to breathe again the fresh cut grass smell was gone and I heard my wolf brandy whine “We lost him we lost our mate” dad noticed the disappointment on my face “ what’s wrong hunny” he asked “Before you came up to hug me I smelled this sent of fresh cut grass and now it’s gone and my wolf seems to think that was our mate!” I told him trying to pick back on the sent “Well that could have been anyone hunny your mom have 150 people alone working on your party” he said trying to help me “Dad do you think we could invite all the men that’s been here to so that I can maybe find my mate?” I asked “Of course hunny let me tell your mother”
