princess trails

Writers note pronouncing the kingdom names or people names: pan-jee-uh (Pangea) La-Ore-ith (leorith) Uh-Zoo-ya (Auziya) pi-lon      (Pilon)  Moe - Zoo- Lea (Mozzuilia) De-Mar-Riz (Damaris) TOHL-Lo- mis (Ptolemis) Sah-fear-ah Saphira ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In a world drowned in darkness ruled by the vampires and demons known as the outworlders. A lone dragon descended from the sky made of pure light its name was Saphira, a goddess cast upon the surface to enlighten the world. Saphira, sadden with the sight of the world drove away the dark abyss and its dark children and usher forth a new era of light and peace. Though three disciples’, an elven woman named Mabbs, a shapeshifter man, Ptolemis  and a human man, Damaris. Together they created more of each kind to populate the world and so Saphira spread her influence far and wide, through out the world everyone lived happily except for one. Damaris became jealous of all the gifts Saphira gifted to the elves and shapeshifters. Elves were gifted with immortality and abilities and the shapeshifters the ability to regenerate and a life span of 500 hundred years. Overtaken with jealousy Damaris fell prey to the whispers of the dark and eventually killed Saphira sending her soul back to the heavens, while extracting the blood from her body. Damaris combined the blood and the shadows of the dark and shared the elixir with a selected few of humans, creating a new race of witches and warlocks.  Because they had half Saphira’s blood not all of them became evil. Some chose the path of light while other chose darkness. It was not long after Damaris came to his senses that he realized what he had done. Betrayed the goddess that created him, he begged the other gods and goddesses for forgiveness for killing one of there beloved. But no forgiveness was given instead they casted a curse. Because of his jealous of the elves, they cursed him with immortality, for his jealously of the shapeshifters they cursed him with regeneration. And lastly, they cursed him to relive the day he killed Saphira in his dreams every night so he would never know peace again. And so, he traveled the lands, slowly going insane reliving the death of the goddess, he betrayed and loved. As centuries went by Mabbs the first disciple felt lonely, so she asks the gods to grant her sisters to share her power of light, death, frost and water. They gifted her three-younger sisters.  Davina the second oldies was given the gift of frost, Damere third oldest was gifted the power death and the youngest Fina was gifted the power over all water. Together the four sisters ruled and governed over the elves in peace. It was not until the four sisters stepped down, returned to the heavens and passed down their rule to their children did, they split off.  Their descendants fought one and another until one stood atop of the others. The descendant of Mabb took the crown and banished the other three to the three corners of the kingdom, Establishing an empire.  Davina’s descendants left to the ice mountains of Auziya, Damere to the rotten forest of Pilon and Fina to the great ocean Leorith. The elves that were not descendant of the four sister’s splitter off to the ones they believe should have became the true rulers.  Thus, the three descendants of Davina, damere and Fina created their own kingdoms but pledge their allegiance to mabbs descendant.  And so, the empire of Pangea was created, and peace was once again brought back to the elves, at least that is what it seems. .Leorith the kingdom of the water  fae ruled fourth in power. known for there beautiful mermaids and powerful water sprites and control the 9 oceans .Pilon the kingdom of the Dark faes ruled third in power. known for dark magic and there sacrifing to the goddess of death.. Auziya the kingdom of the Ice fae  ruled sencond in power. know for there brutality and unforgiving nature but unknown to anyone, the kingdom of assassins. Mozzuilia the kingdom of the light Fae. ruling over all of Pangea. the light Fae are known for there abilities to tame and bond with dragons easier then any other species. in the time of the Fae rule, dragons freely roamed the skies. with out a worry in the world the dragons began to trust species that walked on land and water. and soon a few selected become know as dragon riders fire, light, earth , wind , dragons grew close to the kingdom of Mozzuilia. ice and water  and wind dragons grew close to  the kingdom  Auziya . water dragons grew close to the kingdom of Leorith. undead and dark dragons of course grew closer to the kingdom of Pilon. for generations when a prince or princess was born from the kingdom of Mozzuilia they would have a prince or princess trail. these trials would only have attendance of the princesses or prince's of the other three kingdoms or high nobility, normally from a dukes home. whoever s kingdoms princess or prince that wins the trail would build a stronger alliance with the kingdom of Mozzuilia. and for generation's now the winner of each trials has always been from the kingdom of Pilon until now....
