I could only stare at Alpha Tristan. He sounded frustrated but, most importantly, sincere. But I could not fully trust him. I could not let myself fall into any sort of trap that would definitely use my emotions against me. Alpha Tristan might act nice to me, but I could not forget that he was Scott's father.
He would not go against his son, and there was no way he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. I didn't need to be mocked by him. I needed to remind myself every day that I was here because of revenge. When I was done, I was not sure what was going to happen to my baby, but I would think of a way out.
