I met Ruby at our favorite spot. Unfortunately, we could only get a table outside the café but it was under a shed. I narrated all that had happened since I last saw her; my worries and my doubts about Alpha Tristan.
She gave me a look, and I raised a brow. “What?” I asked.
“Don't you think you are overthinking things?” she said, then sighed. “I don't think Alpha Tristan is interested in them,” she added.
