“What is it?” I asked my Beta, who quickly opened his hand to reveal a simple pearl earring I had gifted to Vivienne.
I specially picked out the color of the jewelry. In fact, I got that jewelry while she was in a relationship with Scott. It was part of the many things I could not stop myself from doing for her, as it held a lot of sentiment for me.
My mind went back to the last time I set my eyes on her when she was in her room. She had on this particular earring. Having the earring in my hands told me she was certainly abducted. “Darius, if anything happens to her, I'll kill you. Mark my words,” I swore within me as I folded my fist in anger.
I felt even more restless now. I needed to get her. I needed her back here now. Why would she leave without informing me?
