Viveinne’s POV My heart skipped a beat at Ava’s words, and my eyes widened instantly. If I wanted anyone to know, it most definitely did not have to be Ava, and not now. She would not let me hear the end. I tried as much as possible to act unbothered, or at least like I did not care that she knew. I folded my arms and stood straight as I spoke. “Who said I was?” I asked. She scoffed, folding her arms, then turned to the maids. “Bounce,” she said, nodding her head to the side. The maid bowed and immediately headed for the door. “No,” Ava said, halting the maid. “Stay,” she added, glaring at me.
