The mysterious kingdom spread out in front of us. It was one of the most beautiful scenes I had ever seen. “Shall we?” Argus smiled and started to lead us down the path towards the castle.
The path weaved into the town that looked like it was trapped in another time. I thought it strange to see this village that looked like it belonged in medieval England, not the middle of Colorado. We got guarded stares from the people as we walked. Their eyes would linger on Darcy, and I tightened my hold on her. Then the whispers began.
