Chapter 5: Mysteries of an Arsonist
Back in his office with a steaming cup of Brew coffee Jason reviews his patient schedule. Brise Hollingster is next. Mid-thirties. Bright. College graduate from Temple. Parents deceased. No siblings. Suffers from various degrees of identity complexes/issues. Jason knows he has three personalities: thinks he’s a soft-spoken mystery reader who cat-sits local felines; thinks he’s the sociology professor who doesn’t teach; and he thinks he’s an arsonist. Jason doesn’t know which personality Brise will talk about today. Could be any of the three. Time will tell.
He reviews more of his notes about Brise: lives off his mother’s money, no aunts or uncles in the woodwork, collects horror movies on DVDs, and doesn’t like dogs. Brise is queer, like Jason. Doesn’t
