Chapter 10: The Wandering Palm
Following his appointment with Max, Jason notes he has the rest of the day off. Granted, it’s only ninety minutes of free time, but ninety is certainly better than zilch in his state of mind, relishing any time he can obtain for himself. He feels lucky for this bed of space from life and time since he’s regularly pulled this way and that way concerning his busy schedule, being the cop’s boyfriend, a professional psychologist, and a social friend to others. Always so busy. Too busy. It almost feels overwhelming that he has these few and timeless moments to himself. Refreshing. Civil.
