Chapter 4“This is really nice,” Shayne said, after they’d been seated at a table for two in the corner by a window. The table held a candle and two place settings. The host had removed the two empty wineglasses from the setup. Des smiled. “Sorry there’s not much in the way of light to see the view. It’s amazing here in the summer.” He lifted his menu to study it. “You take a lot of dates here?” “You’re the first, actually. I’ve been here with my family a lot though. When I was a kid.
