David knew it was a mistake the moment he opened his mouth and informed his best friends-s***h-colleagues during dinner about his upcoming date with Tobias. Joshua and Javier snickered with each other, while Vincent, Keenan, Justin, and Calvin gaped at him.
“Are you sure you’re going to be okay?” Keenan asked, not bothering to hide the concern. “I don’t know the guy, but based on what happened at Pablo’s bar last night, it’s obvious you and Tobias don’t like each other.”
Joshua laughed much louder. “I think they hate each other, but that’s great.”
Vincent rolled his eyes. “Why?”
“Hate s*x, man!” Javier answered before Joshua could.
