Chapter Eleven
Henry led Kristin up to the fifth floor, deliberately pretending that he was oblivious to Kristin, but of course nothing could have been further from the truth. She looked absolutely delightful as she struggled along behind him in her tiny new dress and towering shoes. He could hardly believe that this was the same domineering b***h who had given him the sack just three days earlier.
As delighted as he was with the way things were progressing, Henry was also becoming a little edgy. Each time he pushed the boundaries a little further, he was never sure when she would finally decide enough was enough and take a walk. Ultimately, she still had the final choice and he was honestly amazed that she had allowed things to progress this far.
